A Different Way to Wash

If you're new to solid hair care, welcome.

Using a shampoo or conditioner bar is simple, but a few small habits will help you enjoy the best possible experience and extend the life of your bar.

The biggest difference?

You add the water.

Our bars are highly concentrated and waterless by design. Instead of purchasing a bottle where water is the main ingredient, you activate every wash yourself, creating a fresh lather exactly when you need it.

How to Use Your Shampoo Bar

Step 1 — Wet Your Hair Thoroughly

Your hair should be completely saturated before using the bar. Water activates the cleansing ingredients and helps create a rich, creamy lather.

Step 2 — Activate the Bar

Wet the shampoo bar under running water for a few seconds.

Rub it gently between your hands to create lather or glide it directly over your scalp several times.

A little goes a long way.

Step 3 — Massage

Using your fingertips, massage your scalp just as you would with a liquid shampoo.

Allow the lather to travel through the lengths of your hair while rinsing.

If needed, repeat for a second cleanse.

How to Use Your Conditioner Bar

After rinsing the shampoo:

• Gently squeeze excess water from your hair.

• Glide the conditioner bar over the mid-lengths and ends several times.

• Massage the product through your hair with your hands or a wide-tooth comb.

• Leave on for 1–3 minutes.

• Rinse thoroughly.

How to Care for Your Bars

Solid hair care lasts longest when it is allowed to dry completely between uses.

After every wash:

✓ Rinse away any remaining foam or hair.

✓ Store your bar on a well-draining soap dish.

✓ Keep it out of standing water.

✓ Avoid leaving it directly under the shower stream.

✓ Allow it to air dry completely before using it again.

A dry bar is a happy bar.

Traveling With Your Bar

Traveling with solid hair care is easy.

Allow the bar to dry completely before placing it in a travel tin or container.

If it is still damp, leave the container slightly open until the bar has finished drying.

A Few Things to Remember

Your bar may soften slightly during the first few uses. This is completely normal.

Because our products are handcrafted with botanical ingredients and natural clays, slight variations in color or appearance from one batch to another are also part of their unique character.

Every bar is individually crafted, not mass-produced.

Make Every Wash a Ritual

Hair care should never feel rushed.

Take a moment to enjoy the aroma of the essential oils, massage your scalp with intention, and slow down for a few minutes.

Those few moments of care often become the most meaningful part of the day.

At Line-A, we believe that beautiful hair begins not only with thoughtful ingredients, but with thoughtful rituals.

Just add water. We'll take care of the rest.
